WHAT TO EXPECT
Keep your medication care moving.
Running low on a regular medication? We can help you work out whether you need a refill under an existing prescription or a renewal assessment. A pharmacist will review your treatment, health information and any follow-up needs before deciding what is appropriate. Request a refill, renewal or transfer from the comfort of home. Our team coordinates eligible transfers and can arrange virtual assessment where appropriate.
Care from the comfort of home.
Request prescription care from the comfort of home. Virtual assessments are available where appropriate; your pharmacist confirms whether virtual care is suitable or an in-person visit is needed. Initial prescribing generally requires an in-person assessment or a current professional relationship established through previous in-person care.
Use text or email to arrange care. Complete health details through the booking service or the contact method agreed with your pharmacist.
A renewal is a clinical decision and is not automatic. Some medications and circumstances require your original prescriber or another clinician. Call if you are running out soon; online requests should not be relied on for urgent care.
Refill or renewal?
Not sure whether you need a refill or renewal? Select “Ask a Pharmacist” in the consultation form, or call the pharmacy if you are running out.

GOOD QUESTIONS
A little more clarity.
Here are a few things to know before getting started.
All booking options →What is the difference between a refill and a renewal?
A refill uses remaining authorization on your current prescription. A renewal involves a new prescribing decision when that authorization has ended or the prescription is no longer valid.
Can every prescription be renewed by a pharmacist?
No. Your pharmacist must assess the clinical and legal circumstances. Some requests need monitoring, further assessment or involvement from your prescriber.
Can renewed prescriptions be delivered?
Free prescription delivery in Devon and anywhere in Edmonton, usually within one business day once your prescription is ready, pending medication availability. Same-day delivery may be possible for requests received earlier in the day; our team confirms your delivery window.
How long will my request take?
Processing time depends on your request and pharmacist availability. Call the pharmacy if timing is important.
Can I request care from home?
Request prescription care from the comfort of home. Virtual assessments are available where appropriate; your pharmacist confirms whether virtual care is suitable or an in-person visit is needed. Initial prescribing generally requires an in-person assessment or a current professional relationship established through previous in-person care.
